42Crunch Intellyx BrainCandyWithin the Defender for APIs part of the Microsoft Defender for Cloud multi-cloud security platform, 42Crunch assesses and remediates API threats for the API development lifecycle.

Whether as part of the Microsoft Defender for Cloud platform or independently, 42Crunch plugs into popular IDEs to help developers test their APIs during development and provides visibility on API threats and vulnerabilities to security analysts.

Security analysts set thresholds for acceptable risk levels in APIs and developers get immediate feedback within the IDE about anything they need to fix to meet an organization’s API security policies.

42Crunch validates conformance to OpenAPI or Swagger files and identifies what, if anything, needs to be fixed for compliance. They perform an API security audit and provide a mini-firewall for APIs.

42Crunch also publishes a free industry API security newsletter at APISecurity.io
