Horizon3.ai: Autonomous PEN Testing

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Horizon3.ai scans internal and external networks, recommends when to run penetration (PEN) tests and what to run them for, runs the tests, and fixes or recommends remediations for detected vulnerabilities.

Horizon3.ai’s Node Zero platform scans for misconfigurations, finds and fixes them, and performs a targeted retest after applying a fix. It also checks for compromised credentials, potential data exposures, and inadequate policies and controls.

Results of the PEN tests are displayed in real time on the Node Zero dashboard along with remediation guidance.

PEN tests run automatically at a predefined cadence or on demand. Node Zero runs the tests from a SaaS-based deployment, or can run them from a Docker container hosted in the data center.

Node Zero’s AI assistant recommends which PEN tests to run based on the results of prior tests.

Customers decide which of the recommended run PEN tests to run, run PEN tests following an event of major application update, or simply follow the suggestions of Node Zero’s AI assistant.

Telemetry data collected during the tests feeds into the AI assistant, which builds a knowledge graph specific to PEN testing.
