An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
Since we last covered Britive in April 2023, the company has expanded its dynamic cloud privileged access management (CPAM) offering.
The Britive CPAM platform provides access management for both human and machine identities on Kubernetes, any cloud, or on-premises assets.
Unlike other CPAM products on the market, Britive controls individual privileges on an ephemeral, just-in-time basis. The platform assigns specific, temporary privileges to specific users (or machine requests) based upon policy.
Depending on the sensitivity of the accessed resource, Britive can institute appropriately stringent authentication requirements, as well as timed access that automatically expires at a time set by policy.
This ‘zero standing permissions’ approach to identity-based security extends the notion of zero-trust to access management for human and machine identities.
Britive offers a comprehensive control plane that abstracts access concerns for various systems and applications across hybrid environments. This control plane is API-first, accessible by GUI, API, CLI, or via Britive’s SDK.
