An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief
Check Point Software Technologies’s Infinity Platform secures the network, the workplace, and the cloud. Its threat intelligence detects and responds to external and internal threats.
Check Point pioneered the stateful firewall thirty years ago and built out their platform from that starting point. The platform now also includes an AI Copilot.
The Infinity Platform consists of four major components: Quantum for network security, CloudGuard for cloud security, Harmony for workplace security, and Infinity Core Services for consolidating security operations.
The Platform deploys software agents where possible and uses APIs for endpoints where deploying agents isn’t possible, and includes all of an organization’s endpoints within a protective mesh.
Their cloud solution includes AI intelligence, works with all cloud providers, and deploys as a SaaS.
Their active intelligence capability is based on analyzing network traffic and includes a visualization component to simplify threat analysis. Their goal is to help organizations make sense of the threat noise and reduce false positives.
Their security policy manager prevents access to endpoint enforcement points other than by the policy manager, providing defense in depth. The policy manager supports tagging for asset grouping.
