Many of us may remember Nutanix for their high-efficiency hypervisors and cloud virtual desktops, but this firm has rapidly evolved with seismic changes in IT, expanding their offering to a complete application operating model that includes management, networking, storage and security controls.
Enterprises with fleets of conventional servers and VMs can gradually migrate toward a distributed environment that includes any datacenter, public hyperscaler, or private cloud, or edge services, or even Kubernetes over bare metal, a modernization and unified operations concept I covered in my recent article in The New Stack.
Also recently announced, an Enterprise AI infrastructure offering that deploys secure GenAI application endpoints so companies can bring their own training data, LLMs, and scale up inference workloads in the same hybrid IT fashion.
