Arrcus: Supporting the Convergence of AI and RAN with New AI Ethernet Switch

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

We last covered Arrcus at Mobile World Congress in March 2024.

At this year’s Mobile World Congress, Arrcus announced a new telco-grade ethernet switch that enables telco service providers to deliver value-added AI-based services with the emerging AI-RAN architecture.

AI-RAN is an industry alliance that brings together artificial intelligence and radio access network (RAN) technologies to drive the enhancement of RAN performance and AI capabilities.

Arrcus’s new switch, TGAX, is based on the NVIDIA Spectrum-4 high performance ethernet switch. Arrcus adds its ArcOS network operating system to the switch, offering flexible programmability to service providers to empower their innovation and monetization initiatives.
