Sanas uses AI to remove accents and noise in near real-time, facilitating communication between call center personnel around the world and customers in the US.

Sanas’s goal is to foster better speech understanding. Today, it can translate many accents into a generic American accent while also enabling call center reps around the world to understand callers better.

The company’s home grown language models focus on phoneme replacement, thus retaining the speech patterns, intonation, and emotion of the speaker.

Sanas currently offers a Windows app that speakers run on their desktops. The technology adds about one fifth of a second of latency, well below the threshold noticeable to listeners.

Sanas is still early in its development, and it has impressive plans for its technology. Even with its limited capabilities to date, the company has nevertheless achieved impressive customer traction with call center companies and enterprises that depend upon offshoring.
