Chronosphere: Adding Differential Diagnosis to Cloud Native Observability Platform

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

We last covered Chronosphere is May 2023. At that time, it offered a SaaS cloud native observability platform for cloud native infrastructure that leveraged telemetry including logs, metrics, and traces across all cloud native sources, including all flavors of Kubernetes and serverless functions.

Since that time, the company has been improving its developer experience, including the introduction of a differential diagnosis capability. This capability enables developers to leverage Chronosphere’s observability data to locate and identify the sources of service slowdowns and failures.

Troubleshooting complex microservices can be difficult, especially in distributed, multicluster Kubernetes environments. Chronosphere’s differential diagnosis capability can help developers uncover problem root causes quickly.
