An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
We last covered Nirmata in March 2024. Since that time, the company has rolled out Cloud Control Point to bring admission control to the cloud.
Nirmata’s flagship product, Nirmata Control Hub, is a Kubernetes policy engine that enables operators to configure and enforce policies for Kubernetes configurations for security and compliance. Control Hub is based on the Kyverno open-source policy-as-code engine.
Included in Control Hub’s capabilities is admission control for Kubernetes, which gives organizations the ability to proactively prevent misconfigurations and enhance security for Kubernetes
The Nirmata Cloud Control Point extends this capability to AWS independent of Kubernetes (with other clouds on the roadmap).
Cloud Control point monitors resources and performs continuous background scans in real time, essentially acting as a ‘firewall for configurations’ to proactively support cloud governance.
