ControlMonkey provides a full-lifecycle Terraform and OpenTofu automation platform that provides visibility, policy enforcement, and drift detection and remediation for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployments.
ControlMonkey can inventory and analyze configurations for unmanaged cloud-based infrastructure (i.e., cloud assets not controlled by IaC) and generate the Terraform code necessary to put such infrastructure under management.
The platform follows GitOps principles, integrating with source code control tools. Engineers have the opportunity to clean up the AI-generated Terraform code, and then ControlMonkey handles the pull requests and merges automatically, integrating the newly managed infrastructure with the rest of the IaC-managed assets.
The company also offers a self-service catalog with pre-defined Terraform blueprints to facilitate the organization’s DevOps efforts.
