An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
Dynatrace
continues to push the envelope of observability with new AI agents, AI application performance and security analytics, AIOps data transformations, and integration layers that give engineers and stakeholders health awareness of an enterprise’s complete data and application estate, as well as fine-grained details of root causes and user journeys.
That’s a lot to take in, because there really are a lot of different DevOps and security applications, both invented and acquired, that fit under the hood of this platform. They have now refocused on user experience, especially with Davis AI, an orchestrator for multiple underlying causal, predictive, and GenAI specialized models, with an agent to maintain work context, provide answers and recommendations, and run automation.
All of this runs on their Grail data platform, which acts as a high-performance distributed data lake with a host of integrations and many unique system-and-industry-specific data-intensive apps built atop it.
Interestingly, they recommend an open approach to data pipelines—they say it’s how they use the data that matters (there are probably already enough options anyway). They don’t try to compete with other SIEM vendors either, they draw security posture and threat awareness from several other fixtures in the space, and drive outcomes and incidents to leading work and ITSM platforms.
