An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
When we last covered GridGain in February 2024, the company offered a real-time data platform that combined in-memory data storage and distributed compute; processing of data at rest and in motion across silos; and configurable ACID support, facilitating both low-latency data movement as well as system-of-record durability.
In addition to the continued maturation and hardening of this platform, GridGain has recently added extensive support for both generative AI (genAI) and predictive AI.
The platform’s retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) support can serve as the backbone for genAI applications that leverage enterprise data. It offers support for recency in RAG, giving LLMs access to the most recent enterprise information in real-time.
GridGain also includes a feature store and a predictive cache. GridGain customers can use the feature store to extract features in real-time from either streaming or transactional data. The platform can also serve either cached predictions or real-time predictive models.
GridGain also supports vector search as well as full-text search and SQL-based structured data retrieval.
