Enginsight offers a unified security management platform that includes ASM, EDR, SIEM, and SOAR functionality for MSP partners to offer MDR capabilities to their SME customers.
This alphabet soup is more the fault of the large analyst firms than Enginsight. A translation key for the abbreviation-challenged: ASM = attack surface management; EDR = endpoint detection and response; SIEM = security information and event management; SOAR = service orchestration, automation, and response; MSP = managed service provider; MDR = managed detection and response; and SME = small and medium-sized enterprise.
The market fragmentation that this plethora of abbreviations represents is a burden on the security buyer and also leads to vulnerabilities as hackers pry through the cracks between products.
Enginsight addresses these problems with a unified, on-premises platform that handles these respective tasks end-to-end, including identification of events and assets; vulnerability scanning and penetration testing; intrusion detection and blocking; and patch and configuration management.
Enginsight also takes the extra step in supporting its partners with deployment templates and other assistance, empowering those partners to offer ‘SOC in a box’ to their customers (one more abbreviation, this time for ‘security operations center’).
Most of Enginsight’s partners are in the German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), although they are expanding across EMEA. Each partner serves local customers. Enginsight also sells to its partners through distributors.
