Solace: Agent Mesh for Agentic AI Orchestration

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

Since we last spoke with Solace, they have added agentic AI support to their event driven architecture (EDA) platform.

Solace’s Agent Mesh deploys and orchestrates AI agents, leveraging capabilities of their Event Mesh.

Solace logo Intellyx BCAn event can trigger execution of one or more AI agents in the Agent Mesh. Solace orchestrates multiple agents and tools to execute a given task.

Agents communicate with each other (including agents external to the Agent Mesh) using the A2A (agent to agent) protocol and interact with tools using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

The Mesh’s orchestration agent interacts with an LLM to sequence interactions across multiple agents and tools to identify the best to execute a given task, such as track down an order or analyze a security image for potential risks.

Solace’s agent gateway provides for agents similar functionality to that of an API gateway, such as authentication and authorization controls.

The Agent Mesh leverages the Event Mesh to deliver real time data updates to an agent may be required  to complete a task or goal.

Agent Mesh capabilities improve response times, governance, and security for AI agents deployed within it.
