When we last covered ValueBlue in February 2022, the company offered an enterprise architecture (EA) tool with easy-to-use business transformation templates.
EA is still at the heart of ValueBlue’s offering, but generative AI (genAI) has changed the game.
Today, ValueBlue offers BlueDolphin, an AI-driven strategic planning and solution design tool that empowers business leaders to accelerate business transformation by connecting strategic priorities to tactical initiatives, so that they undertake the right initiatives and execute them properly.
BlueDolphin leverages an EA artifact repository that maintains a single source of truth across a range of business and technology assets. This repository integrates with several visualization and user experience design tools, among other products.
Users work within BlueDolphin on their business model canvas, which drives the capability model that in turn feeds the solution architecture for each initiative.
A genAI-based natural language interface supports all user interactions with BlueDolphin. AI agents can analyze all assets in the repository to support user prompts, with additional agents on the roadmap.
BlueDolphin’s genAI capabilities are multimodal, supporting audio and image inputs in addition to text. For example, users can input a photo of a hand-drawn process diagram, and BlueDolphin will convert it automatically to BPMN.
