Minimus: Locking Down OpenClaw with Minimized Container Images

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

We last covered Minimus in August 2025, when the company told us about its secure, minimized container images with an automated update service. It builds its hardened container images from the original source every time the community resolves a CVE, thus virtually eliminating vulnerabilities in its container images.

The Minimus OpenClaw container image provides the same level of security to the popular OpenClaw open-source autonomous AI agent.

Various OpenClaw container images are available, but all of them have many thousands of CVEs each, including several critical ones.

The Minimus OpenClaw image, in contrast, has only a small number of CVEs, none of which is critical.

Given the power of OpenClaw and its unprecedented access to users’ messaging channels and API keys, as well as administrative access to users’ systems, the Minimus OpenClaw container image is a must-have for every OpenClaw user.
