AppOmni: Expanding SaaS Security Offering to Address AI Security Risks

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

When we last covered AppOmni in January 2025, the company had matured its SaaS security platform, providing enterprises with comprehensive SaaS posture management by helping organizations understand, prioritize, and mitigate their SaaS risks.

The company has now expanded its SaaS security expertise to address the diverse AI security risks that enterprises face today.

AppOmni prevents shadow AI access, security misconfigurations, and unsafe AI behaviors, both for SaaS applications as well as other uses of AI – many of which are delivered via cloud as well.

Given its SaaS security expertise, AppOmni is especially well-suited to discovering and mitigating AI-based attacks on SaaS platforms like Salesforce and ServiceNow as well as Microsoft Copilot.

AppOmni offers both a chatbot for secops personnel to query the platform as well as embedded AI agents that proactively surface suspicious behaviors from both human and non-human actors for operators to resolve.

AppOmni takes a full-lifecycle approach to AI security that includes AI discovery and inventory; posture management (in particular for SaaS applications); threat detection; and agentic protection. The platform also feeds data to corporate SIEM and SOAR platforms.
