An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
We last covered Enginsight in July 2025, when the vendor briefed us on its unified security management platform that included ASM, EDR, SIEM, and SOAR functionality for MSP partners to offer MDR capabilities to their SME customers (see that article for an abbreviation key).
More recently, the company has been expanding its model-agnostic support for AI, giving its MSP partners the flexibility to support various customer LLM requirements.
As part of this agnosticism, Enginsight now offers type safe log data, essentially differentiating automatically among data types in log files.
This type safety improves the context that log telemetry provides to the models, thus improving results while facilitating model agnosticism.
Type safe log data also supports Enginsight’s new managed streams capability. Managed streams provide ready-made detection rules for pre-defined use cases, thus dramatically accelerating time to resolution for many common issues.
Intellyx hot take: Enginsight’s focus on supporting its channel has enabled it to craft a security platform offering that is a good fit for customers looking to work with partners for their security capabilities.
Intellyx cold take: Enginsight’s focus on MSPs in German-speaking countries has limited its ability to expand across the rest of Europe.
