RAD Security: Behavioral agent profiling, inspection, and security control plane

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

RAD security 2025If you were a kid like me growing up in materialistic Plano, Texas, you didn’t want to be made fun of for bringing loose papers to school in a lame folder. No, you needed to buy the state-of-the-art Trapper Keeper, with cool graphics and separate pockets for each topic.

Now many enterprises have adopted agents in a rather loose-leaf disorganized fashion, combining various enterprise work copilots with coding agents and thousands of OpenClaw-style agents, with little foresight into exactly what each agent should, or should not be doing, with policies scattered across disparate identity, access, and governance silos.

Since our last briefings with RAD Security in 2025 and 2024, this early-to-market cloud native and agentic software supply chain vendor has honed in on bringing order to a multi-agent world, with a common trust control plane that behaviorally profiles each agent action against its provenance, intent, and capabilities.

Their new AgentKeeper open-source tool discovers and inspects existing and incoming agents, skills and MCP servers, in order to keep their usage on topic, and blocks hidden access paths and prompts that would lead to potentially compromised resources. From there, customers can choose to upgrade to their Fusion AI self-service solution if they want to support enterprise-wide governance and security investigations.

Intellyx hot take:  In our briefing, they mentioned one CISO that discovered 27 separate AI security tools (!!!) and agentic demos in one scan, which demonstrates the need for a runtime solution that closes the door behind agents.

Intellyx cold take: There’s a herd mentality among corporations and their boards driving the adoption of agentic AI, and the companies that do attempt to restrict usage often encounter shadow AI usage by employees, so we expect this attack surface to continue to expand despite the industry’s best efforts to combat it.
