HeadSpin gives developers and testers the ability to experience mobile apps and sites as their users do.
The company leverages mobile points of presence (PoPs) in small boxes that contained hardened hardware, including whatever variety of mobile devices the customer wishes to test.
The developer or tester can then run apps or load pages on these remote devices, running individual tests manually or automated tests across mobile PoPs distributed around the world – even in motion as they move about on vehicles.
Accessing the PoPs requires no coding, and each of HeadSpin’s customers has dedicated boxes, so they don’t have to share them as with other physical device clouds.
In addition, HeadSpin’s platform supports numerous metrics beyond UI behavior, including API, CDN, and video performance.
