Vercara was formerly the security division of Neustar. It was spun out of Neustar and rebranded in April 2023.
Vercara provides small and medium sized businesses with a comprehensive cloud based DNS, application, and network security platform.
Vercara products include UltraDNS, UltraDDR, UltraDDosProtect, UltraWAF, UltraAPI, and UltraWPM.
Customers can purchase the products separately or as an integrated platform suite.
Vercara started by offering a managed DNS service called UltraDNS, and built out the platform by adding DNS security, a WAF, anti-DDOS protection, and API security, among other capabilities.
UltraDNS manages DNS traffic and resolves DNS addresses globally, with customizable primary, secondary, or dual primary services.
And the recently developed UltraAPI product provides an inline proxy to secure API traffic and detect and prevent bot attacks through behavioral tracking.
