Dragos: Securing Operational Control Systems

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Dragos provides a cybersecurity threat detection platform for operational systems such as those that automate factories, data centers, and mines.

The Dragos platform gathers intelligence about an operational system’s connected devices, identifies potential vulnerabilities, and prioritizes the vulnerabilities for remediation.

Dragos decodes control system protocols, such as those for interacting with Rockwell or Siemens devices, and detects anomalies that indicate a potential cybersecurity risk such as a ransomware attack, data breach, or unauthorized remote login.

The Dragos platform segments the network, repairs and updates broken devices, controls remote access, maintains a database of OT threats, and recommends remediation actions.

Their professional services team offers expert guidance on threat detection and remediation strategies and specializes in patching systems that can’t go down, such as electric, gas, and water utilities.
