Polar Signals was at KubeCon demonstrating a continuous profiler service that leverages eBPF technology to monitor CPU metrics and events, unwinding software stack dependencies and pointing out opportunities for optimizing cost and performance without impacting workloads.
No instrumentation code or YAML needed, just place a small collector agent on the node, and it will report back to their service, allowing developers to identify root causes of incidents, finding code paths in various commonly used languages that could use further refinement, and recommending opportunities to reduce CPU or energy consumption costs.
