An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
We last covered Vantiq in October 2023. Since we last spoke with them, they have added gen AI and agentic AI capabilities.
Vantiq’s platform provides a low code GUI to build and deploy data streaming integrations that connect enterprise applications with IoT devices to orchestrate responses to real time events.
Applications of Vantiq’s platform include systems that immediately respond to real world events in health care, defense, energy, telecom, construction, and security, among others.
Vantiq’s low code GUI also builds and deploys AI agents to interpret the data streams and automatically execute the appropriate response function.
Data stream integrations are easily swapped out or modified to continuously improve a response system. Integrations support dynamic workflows, which direct the steps in a flow based on the event data in a stream.
Vantiq deploys the integrations out to the network and monitors the interactions across the endpoints, whether in the data center or in the field, to ensure the system is operating correctly. All communication is asynchronous, event based, and handles intermittent network connectivity.
During application development, the platform’s AI agents use natural language to describe and generate flows. Gen AI LLMs help improve developer productivity and interpret runtime analytics for application tuning.
At runtime, Vantiq uses ML to identify priority events in streaming data and gen AI chatbots to alert users about relevant events and recommend responses. Agentic workflows can be deployed to execute specific domain functions and automatically take action under the right circumstances.
When IoT devices detect a problem, such as a natural disaster for example, Vantiq automates the interaction with first responders.
Vantiq integrates with external enterprise systems such as incident management, observability, and cybersecurity systems using standard messaging systems and communication protocols.
