VergeIO offers virtualized compute (VMs), virtualized network (SDN), and virtualized storage (vSAN) via a single codebase that incorporates all infrastructure virtualization into its hypervisor.
The VergeIO platform installs on bare metal and can run on any hardware – in data centers, in the cloud, or on edge servers. It can run on hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), or if customers prefer, dedicated separate compute and storage nodes.
The platform simplifies migration off VMware by conforming to VMware’s backup APIs, facilitating seamless, rapid migration to VergeIO’s VMs.
The platform supports network multitenancy, enabling cloud service providers (CSPs) to leverage VergeIO to support customer deployments.
VergeIO is now increasing its support for AI, providing infrastructure for running LLMs and RAG pipelines as well as leveraging generative AI for documentation and automated support. In addition, the platform can abstract GPUs or enable LLMs to operate without them.
VergeIO’s management dashboard is dead simple, reducing the headcount required to manage diverse virtualized resources by a factor of ten or more.
