Rappit’s declarative approach can generate Java-based apps from the relevant metadata, including CI/CD scripts and configurations of databases and other supporting infrastructure.
The company offers a studio that provides rapid prototyping and requirements gathering based upon legacy codebases. It can then generate optimized code for application modernization, including back-end, front-end, CI/CD scripts, and test code.
Developers can then complete the modernization process by adding custom code. Rappit protects such custom code when regenerating applications so customizations are never lost when updating underlying open source libraries and supporting infrastructure.
Rappit is cloud native. It runs in the Google Cloud and leverages many of its services, including BigQuery, Looker, Gemini, and others.
