env zero offers a cloud governance platform that leverages infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and languages to help platform engineering teams implement automated policy guardrails to support developer self-service.
env zero inventories an organization’s existing IaC capabilities, identifying inconsistencies and gaps. It then brings information about diverse IaC deployments into a single repository and helps organizations bring unmanaged infrastructure into compliance with established IaC policies.
In addition, env zero can triage and prioritize IaC issues to aid with this IaC onboarding while also resolving configuration drift.
The company offers several infrastructure policies out of the box and also supports custom policies that comply with the Open Policy Agent (OPA).
In addition to automated policy enforcement, env zero works with fintech tools to help platform teams manage cloud spend while improving mean time to resolution (MTTR) for infrastructure issues.
The company has also rolled out a model context protocol (MCP) server that brings control over its platform to IDEs and other developer tools so that developers can take advantage of env zero’s capabilities without context switching.
