An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
Since we last covered Portal26 in November 2024, the company has expanded its generative AI (genAI) adoption management platform to help organizations deal with shadow AI, AI-based productivity, AI license management, genAI governance, and AI adoption strategies.
Portal26 can uncover all genAI usage across the organization, identifying both shadow AI usage as well as the usage of licensed AI products. It stores information about such usage, giving users the ability to sort and filter by department, location, objective, license parameters, and individual users’ behavior, among other parameters.
The company has also added a proxy, giving the platform the ability to manage, redact, or block prompts on the fly.
Portal26 also enables organizations to manage the retention of prompts for intellectual property and compliance purposes.
Portal26’s users are primarily security operations personnel, but departmental managers are becoming increasingly important personas for the company as it helps its customers decentralize genAI management.
