Low-Code/No-Code is dead. Or is it? All vendors in this space have already added generative AI, so now citizen developers can build working apps with nothing more than a conversation. In 2026, however, companies are going to run up against the limitations of this technology — hallucinations and non-deterministic behavior where it’s not wanted. The low-code/no-code (aka vibe coding) vendors that excel will simplify the choice between building deterministic and non-deterministic functionality, so that citizen developers can choose which paradigm they want in particular situations.
