An Intellyx RSAC 2026 Update Brief
Broadcom turned up the volume and announced its new Symantec CBX offering, combining its ‘legendary’ capabilities of Symantec and Carbon Black including EDR, endpoint protection, anti-malware, antivirus, data layer protection, secure web gateway, traffic monitoring, and more into a ready-to-run cloud managed suite that gives security teams at mid-sized businesses a defensive posture against AI-driven threats including ransomware and data theft.
The new offering comes with AI-assisted insights and workflow capabilities to give smaller teams and service partners robust security investigation capabilities, incident prediction, and remediation guidance and automation for and uprooting persistent threats such as “living off the land” (LotL) lurkers.

“We’re seeing more sophisticated threats, even nation state level attacks, going at smaller companies, which could be for economic gain, or supply chain purposes, or collateral damage from wars. The high end has always had great tools and they can throw a lot of security resources and consultants at threats. Smaller teams need a better set of security capabilities across multiple attack surfaces, not just endpoints. We’re tying together our product capabilities and AI for easier to use automation, incident summarization, threat hunting and responses, to help these customers operate at a higher level of responsiveness,” said Jason Rolleston, general manager of Broadcom’s Enterprise Security Group, from their rock-and-roll themed presence on the expo floor at RSAC 2026.
