An Intellyx Brief from Black Hat 2026
C1 provides a human, non-human, and agentic identity control plane, with an integration platform for securely connecting systems, API services, and MCP servers, now with a cryptographic vault for storing real-time secrets and credentials.
Agentic AI is driving much of the change we see in modern privileged access management solutions. While a human user may request credentials once a day, agents may need thousands of momentary least privilege access windows as they conduct automated work across systems in runtime.

C1 conducts automated discovery and auditing of the activity of an agent fleet to ensure that access policies are matched with agent business intent. New for Black Hat, the company introduced a new vaulting capability with post-quantum cryptography that keeps credentials and secrets with agent workloads, so they can have access to “only what they need” in real time in a safe protective bubble.
Hot take from Black Hat: “As a modern identity governance solution, we can tell that agents are coming on quick. Every company needs to evolve faster to use agents to help make better products and services faster. You need a full chain of command over non-human identities, since humans can create agents, and agents can create other agents. We take our lessons learned and work with our design partners to help our customers with the cultural changes that need to happen to adapt to AI and understand and secure identities,” said Kevin Paige, Field CISO, C1.
