Cybersecurity is a broad market category of software, hardware and services for the detection and prevention of cyber attacks, malware, and unauthorized system access by hackers, and protection against system and user-based vulnerabilities. With security and data breaches costing global businesses as much as $4B annually, and an ever expanding threat surface of distributed computing resources and device endpoints, cybersecurity is no longer the realm of the CISO or security software professional alone, and is generally ranked within the top three priorities of all mid-to-large size company CEOs.
