1. Don’t view this as a project that starts and ends
Digital transformation doesn’t occur in a day or a month. The steps required for becoming a digital enterprise evolve, taking place through incremental change. It’s not scoped in a traditional way, 
but instead the scope of the project is the question or process you are trying to solve.
Keynote speaker Charles Araujo, Principal Analyst with Intellyx and founder of The Institute for Digital Transformation, explained that most organizations hold off on digital transformation because they don’t know where to start. But the simplest answer is “start doing something, anything at all – just start moving” because there is no one path to digital transformation. Charles goes on to explain “you can’t navigate a boat that’s not moving,” some organizations have been waiting on the sidelines to see what happens, but the time to wait has passed – organizations need to start now and keep progressing.
