At last week’s VMworld conference, major announcements centered on partnerships between VMware and Amazon.com as well as a more complicated VMware/Pivotal/Google relationship. As I wrote about in my latest article for Forbes, the common theme across these announcements is Hybrid IT.
On the exhibit floor, Hybrid IT value propositions were in full force, as might be expected. Somewhat more surprising: the raft of cybersecurity vendors touting equally disruptive wares.
