The team at Softvision believes that digital transformation is about creating impactful digital experiences and curating digital journeys for your customers, employees, and partners. They also think that because digital transformation requires a fundamental shift in operating and business models and in the culture of the organization itself, that they must employ a radically different engagement model to help their clients succeed.

This vision that a new era requires a new engagement paradigm is what has led the company to create an operating model that is substantially different from other professional service companies working in the digital transformation space. Feeling almost like a hybrid between an advertising firm and a technology consultancy, the company organized itself into a global network of what it calls ‘studios.’ These studios become the physical client touchpoints, but layered upon them they utilize what they call ‘guilds,’ which are effectively globally interconnected communities of practice.

They then create cross-discipline teams, called ‘pods,’ pulling members from multiple guilds to manage specific client engagements. The important distinction is that these organizational constructs are essentially self-organizing teams, creating a dynamic, holocratic operating model that the company feels gives it the ability to help its clients innovate and transform faster.

The company sees agility and innovation as critically intertwined. It believes that while important, agility by itself is insufficient, and that organizations need to innovate to thrive in the digital era. It believes that its engagement model enables more rapid innovation for its clients, but that it also helps them develop internal innovation capabilities and transform their culture in the process.
