Natural Language Generation (NLG) is now a familiar part of our day-to-day experience. In enterprise scenarios, NLG typically requires extensive data preparation and analysis as inputs into the NLG engine in order to produce useful, natural-sounding narratives.
Narrative Science addresses these challenges with AI-driven data analytics that surfaces relevant insights in even vast quantities of data, and is thus able to automatically generate narratives that explain the important elements of such data sets in easily consumable, natural language.
The company offers Quill, its NLG platform that requires a measure of customization and configuration (typically by partners like Deloitte) to be able to automatically generate reports that meet business and compliance needs.
In addition, Narrative Science offers Dynamic Narrative, an SDK with a set of APIs for business intelligence vendors as well as enterprises to build narratives into visualizations in products like Tableau.
