Rogue Wave Software began its history as a C++ tool and library vendor. Though several acquisitions over the last thirty years, the company has rounded out its offering with php tooling (via Zend Technologies), open source support (via OpenLogic) and API management (via Akana), among others.
Today, Rogue Wave continues to support its broad suite of tools and libraries and also provides a range of technical professional support services.
Unlike other vendors who have grown through multiple acquisitions, however, this company isn’t interested in integrating its products into a single platform. Rather, it supports each tool individually and helps its customers coordinate their use via consulting offerings.
