An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief
What would happen if you built an integrated solution to manage the end-to-end complexity of IT operations from the ground-up? This feat is precisely what ManageEngine has accomplished. While several of its competitors also have comprehensive portfolios that enable end-to-end IT management, it claims to be the only company that has purpose-built its portfolio from scratch rather than piecing it together through multiple acquisitions.
According to the company, this development-centric philosophy has enabled it to create a platform that uses a common data model and which has contextual integrations between products. It claims that this common data and integration layer allows organizations to more effectively and seamlessly manage their IT operations.
Moreover, it believes that this operating philosophy enables it to deliver a feature and functionality-rich portfolio of over 90 IT management products, but to do so more affordably than its competitors. While the company has traditionally focused on the small-to-midsize enterprise market, it is finding recent traction in the enterprise space as those organizations seek lighter-weight solutions that are easier and faster to deploy at lower price points.
