EASA Software: Modernization of Excel Spreadsheets with Low-Code

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Microsoft Excel is a powerful, multifaceted tool that also locks away data and business logic into individual spreadsheet files. In some cases, organizations can migrate such assets to server or cloud-based applications, but in other cases, the complexity of the business logic in such files makes migration cost-prohibitive.

EASA Software addresses this challenge with a wizard-based, low-code platform that builds either web interfaces or general-purpose APIs that directly access Excel files on a server or in the cloud.

While this approach preserves the spreadsheet business logic in place, EASA moves the data in such spreadsheets to its customer’s database of choice, thus enabling them to leverage a modern data infrastructure.

EASA also works with MATLAB, R, Python, CAD/CAM, and other files as well – but Excel makes up the lion’s share of its customers’ use cases.
