Historically, Timesys has provided security solutions for embedded Linux-based software at the heart of devices at factories, hospitals, and many other industrial locations.
With the rise of the Internet of Things (IoT), and in particular, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Timesys has extended its security offerings to manufacturers of IoT/IIoT devices that leverage both embedded Linux and Android operating systems.
Timesys focuses its Threat Resistance Security Technology (TRST) on ‘secure by design’ and ‘stay secure.’ Secure by design focuses on implementing secure, hardened software in devices during production. Stay secure is a family of professional services offerings that maintain security patches and continual threat monitoring for devices once they are in the end-customer’s location.
The combination of these two components of the TRST offering afford Timesys’ customers with full lifecycle security for their IoT and IIoT devices.
