An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief
HashiCorp offers four open source products in the enterprise infrastructure market, along with commercial enterprise versions of each product.
The four products: Consul, which abstracts static networking as service-based dynamic networking; Nomad, which schedules and runs jobs; Vault, and identity-based security product; and Terraform, an infrastructure-as-code provisioning tool for cloud, VMware, and Kubernetes environments.
Each product has its own vibrant open source community, driving ongoing development in each product while bringing the products to enterprise DevOps toolchains. In the future, we can expect greater integration among the products as HashiCorp fleshes out this DevOps story.
