Haystac: Robotic archival, search and compliance for unstructured data

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Haystac logo - Intellyx Brain CandyMost enterprises and government agencies are awash in a sea of unstructured data: content that is generated, copied and stored in unclassified data stores and shared servers, incompatible file types and even paper files. This presents a security and compliance issues for the business while generally mucking up attempts to productively use the data.

Haystac seeks to clean up this data mess working alongside robotic process automation (RPA) partners at scale with its Indāgō Content Analytics solution. The solution allows data to be either classified and retained for faster reference purposes, or disposed of if it causes risk or clutter. Security and data analysis geeks and non-technical users alike can see the state of all ingested data and processed metadata in a unified dashboard.

“We are like librarian robots,” said Haystac CEO Barak Tsivkin. “If you allow unstructured content to pile up, it makes it much harder to secure and segment. We search and look at data, retain what has value, and dispose of data that is not needed and could be a liability. We get rid of the hay in the stack, and put the needles in the right place.”
