When you hear the term OLAP – online analytical processing – what comes to mind? You might think of data cubes that take carefully organized, summary relational data and make them available for multidimensional queries.
Such first-generation OLAP cubes were not particularly scalable, and thus poorly suited for analyzing Big Data sets. In many cases, queries would take minutes or even hours, limiting the productivity of the consumers of the information.
Kyvos Insights solves these problems by bringing cloud scale to the OLAP cube. Its Elastic OLAP on Big Data technology can support real-time queries on trillions of rows of data, either in a cloud or on premises.
