OneSpan has been in the multifactor authentication (MFA) market for a number of years. Originally known as VASCO Data Security, it was most familiar for its Digipass hardware authenticator.
Today, it has augmented this technology with a risk analytics engine that can provide an automated risk score at the authentication step, taking into account how individuals interact with their devices, as well as other interactions along the customer journey.
OneSpan leverages this same machine learning-driven risk analytics technology to help its customers reduce fraud by detecting both known and emerging fraud vectors across multiple digital channels.
