AntWorks: Leveraging ‘Fractal’ AI for Data-Centric Process Automation

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Fractal science is an approach to artificial intelligence that differs from the more common neural science approach in that it deals better with smaller variations in input data, while neural approaches are more adept at deriving results from larger variations.

As a result, a neural approach may be able to identify cats in photos, while the fractal approach is better at optimizing process automations.

That premise is at the heart of the AntWorks platform, which leverages fractal AI to implement intelligent automation – essentially, smarter bots for robotic process automation (RPA).

AntWorks’ technology is particularly well-suited for automating data-centric processes with analog source data. In other words, AntWorks replaces OCR with an entirely different approach for both digitizing analog data like paper forms and then automating the processes that deal with the resulting information.
