An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief
Apcela has leveraged an investment in railroad right-of-way fiber optics to build a global private network infrastructure. It brings this network to market via a set of managed services, including managed SD-WAN.
At the core of its offering are its distributed AppHUB application hubs, which provide global application delivery for hybrid IT across what Apstra is positioning as ‘hybrid WAN,’ in other words, its private network.
The AppHUB edge infrastructure transitions traffic from the private network to corporate networks, cloud services, and the Internet.
On top of this network infrastructure, Apcela provides a software-defined, low-latency network that works with various SD-WAN products to deliver high-performance, secure global networking to its enterprise clients.
Apcela also offers professional services as well as managed services, enabling its customers to get up to speed quickly with a variety of SD-WAN, security, and management products.
