Most vendors of low-code platforms seek to replace hand-coding in the enterprise, and thus their platforms are suitable for building all manner of applications an enterprise might want to deploy.
Even the process-centric low-code platforms, aka digital process automation platforms, are general-purpose with respect to the types of process-centric apps that enterprise developers might build on them.
UCBOS has taken a different approach. By leveraging the deep supply chain expertise of its team, UCBOS has created abstracted templates of core supply chain entities, like inventories, orders, customers, and the like. In addition, UCBOS has built integrations with most legacy supply chain management (SCM) apps that abstract the functionality and metadata specific to each.
As a result, developers can use UCBOS to implement a full complement of supply chain-related process-centric applications that leverage data from SCM applications without writing any code.
