Carbonetes provides application security for developers working on microservices in containerized environments via a serverless cloud-based service.
Following ‘shift left’ principles familiar to DevOps and cloud-native approaches, Carbonetes processes code in various repositories and images with six analyzers, covering code composition, licenses, configuration, malware, vulnerabilities, and appropriate use of secrets.
It then evaluates the results against compliance rules, company and industry policies, and white/black lists. It then responds via multiple possible interactions back to the developer.
Carbonetes unifies all container analysis into a single streamlined workflow that integrates into an organization’s existing development workflow and provides a single repository for logging across all container threats.
