Their mix-and-match service offers a customizable cloud re-platforming capability, integrating most CI/CD, security and orchestration tools with their management capabilities for provisioning applications and workloads across heterogeneous cloud, container or on-prem deployment options.
A first principle of cloud modernization is the acceptance that any real enterprise-grade effort will need to wrangle a messy spectrum of existing legacy systems, VMs and net-new application demands on one side, and Terraform/Ansible scripts, containers, functions and edge services that need to be secured and governed before and after deployment.
Morpheus presents simplified cloud control planes geared to the concerns of IT Ops, Security, Development and even FinOps (cost control) teams, so they are collaborating across shared environments with less conflict and confusion.
The platform’s intentional design approach of avoiding vendor lock-in helps here as well, so the business can bring all of its existing architectural application delivery and management tooling to bear, while leaning on their platform to span integration gaps where needed. A new zero-trust multi-cloud security management capability delivered in conjunction with Unisys Stealth offers an interesting example of this playbook in action.
