The term AIOps has been a buzzword staple in the tech industry for years now. Real-world adoption, however, is still in its early stages. While part of this lag is attributable to the normal cycle of hype associated with new technologies and approaches, another more foundational factor hamstrings AIOps: it’s hard to get right. Adopting AIOps is challenging because it is difficult to extract meaningful value if you only apply it to one part of the IT operational management process (e.g., focusing only on event correlation).
The team at CloudFabrix has recognized this need for a holistic and integrated approach to AIOps. The company’s goal, therefore, is to deliver a single solution that deals with much of the AIOps data-to-value pipeline. Its suite begins by combining asset discovery and topology mapping with asset lifecycle management insights. It then unifies, correlates, and enriches data through a series of steps that ultimately deliver automated incident triage, root cause analysis, and predictive insights.
The platform leverages multiple algorithmic methods throughout this process, which, it claims, enables automated enrichment, better correlation and noise reduction, and more accurate anomaly detection and predictive capabilities.
